Original Eames for Herman Miller fiberglass & naugahyde chair, late 60s-early 70s.
The shell is off-white, the seat is a rare blue color, H-base has been updated in black. Manufacturer's mark at the bottom for authenticity.
Condition notes: This chair has been completely refurbished after the previous owner drilled holes directly in the fiberglass shell. As a result, the padding has been repaired and the base has new shock mounts. The naugahyde has been cleaned, re-painted with material-appropriate products, and coated to give it a long new life. The fiberglass shell has a few discreet scratches, consistent with the age of the item.
